<p>66/67 Howard Street is located just off Northumberland Square within the conservation area. The area is partly commercial and partly residential. The front access is onto Howard Street with rear lane access from Norfolk Street. The work consists of external refurbishment. This includes removal of shop front, introduction of new window and door with traditional stone surround new slate roof and associated leadwork. New sash windows to Howard Street elevation and rear elevation, brick and stone repointing, new render stonework repair and new rainwater goods. Curtilage work comprising new stone paving and railings. The building was originally residential but has been a commercial premises for many years. The building is fully occupied by the owner. The start date is to be agreed but it is hope works will before the end of February 2022.
