Evaluation Consultant

Tender description

We are seeking a consultant to work with the Learning and Engagement Manager at Hogarth’s House to: 1. Devise an evaluation framework that will assess the outputs and outcomes of the Hogarth’s Mulberry Garden project. The evaluation framework proposed should be in line with the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s evaluation guidelines and should: • Identify what success means for each line of the Action Plan. • Set out the key performance indicators (and associated quality indicators) expected from delivering each of the activities in the action plan as well as identifying the timetable when data should be collected • Specify the data to be collected • Detail the frequency with which data collection will be carried out • Specify the most appropriate and effective ways in which evaluation should be carried out with specific audiences • Recommend how the results should be recorded • Recommend how the results should be used to inform future programming and forward planning • The work will include the production of all evaluation materials and tools 2. Train staff, volunteers and a Young Freelancer to carry out certain parts of the data collection as specified by the appointed Consultant. 3. Analyse all the collected data from the activities and capital development work and write a case study on the House’s involvement in the Young Freelancer programme. Write the final evaluation report that includes recommendations for post-project success.
