Tender description
The Policy Unit in the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Development Cooperation and Africa Division (DCAD) provides support for policy development and planning across the Government’s development cooperation programme, Irish Aid. In 2023 and 2024, against the backdrop of the evolving global food and nutrition crisis, enhanced technical support will be required in the area of Sustainable Food Systems and Nutrition in order to advance Ireland’s policy positions and deliver on our international pledges and commitments. Consultancy services will be required to provide technical support, develop policy and programme analysis and other analytical work, as needed, across DFA’s business units, to support policy decisions and enhance the value of Ireland’s investment in Sustainable Food and Nutrition systems, programming and policy influencing.
