Tender description
The BMM Autoclaves (DH14998 & DH14999) are used by the Microbiology department to sterilise waste from the CAT3 laboratory. This is essential for the operation of the lab. Lot 1: The BMM Autoclaves (DH14998 & DH14999) are used by the Microbiology department to sterilise waste from the CAT3 laboratory. This is essential for the operation of the lab. MMM Medical Equipment UK Limited and are the only contractor that NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is aware of that can carry out the weekly testing on these machines in line with the requirements of SHTM2010. Consequently to change these machines would cost a significant amount money and disruption to NHSGGC Staff and Patients. Therefore the best course of action to insure compliance with procurement regulations, and ensure the continued maintenance of these machines, is to publish a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice.
