Tender description
The works involve the installation of approximately 9,522m of new distribution main consisting of 32mm OD, 63mm OD, 90mm OD and 125mm OD polyethylene PE80, SDR11 main and PE100, SDR17 main which will be located in field, road, road transverse crossings, verge, and road set back areas in front of properties. The installation of the proposed new mains will be a combination of open excavation with Directional Drilling (HDD) in verge and road areas where approved. Service pipes in transverse road crossing situations to be installed using a Grundamat mole or similar equipment. The works also include the connection of the GWS to the Irish Water public mains.
