The Contracting Entity intends to procure a single-supplier framework agreement for Electricity Retail Market Assurance Services for the Retail Market Design Service (RMDS) in the fully open Irish Retail Electricity Market in the Republic of Ireland. It is proposed that the framework agreement will include (non-exhaustive list – high level scope): Retail market assurance services for changes to the retail market including the delivery of the V14.00.00 Market Release which will deliver further Smart Metering services to customers, an enduring microgeneration solution for customers and other changes to support a low carbon future. 1. New entrant suppliers require retail market assurance services to allow CRU to judge their suitability for retail market entry into the ROI electricity market. 2. Retail market assurance services for ongoing updates to IT platforms and systems such as Tibco and Market Participants EMMAs Lot 1: The Contracting Entity intends to procure a single-supplier framework agreement for Electricity Retail Market Assurance Services for the Retail Market Design Service (RMDS) in the fully open Irish Retail Electricity Market in the Republic of Ireland. Electricity Retail Market Assurance in the Irish Electricity Retail Market is the process by which the CRU and Market Participants obtain assurance that the operation of the market will not be adversely affected by a change to the market processes or systems, the entry of a new Market Participant or the entry of an existing Market Participant into a new sector of the Market.
