The Scottish Government have a broad range of senior leadership roles located across Scotland, although mainly around Edinburgh and Glasgow. To support the leadership, people skills and personal development of senior staff in the Scottish Government we seek an outplacement executive coaching service which is designed to enable staff to manage and thrive within the diverse range of opportunities and challenges that arise through their careers. The aim of this tender is to procure the services of a supplier(s) who can provide outplacement executive coaching on a one-to-one basis for Senior Civil Servants and high potential members of staff. Section 2 – Background & Context The Scottish Government (SG) and its associated agencies is responsible for most of the issues of day to day concern to the people of Scotland, including health, education, justice, rural affairs and transport. The senior leadership cadre consist of around 280 at Senior Civil Service (SCS) level and 1,800 at Band C. The Scottish Government seeks the services of a supplier(s) who can provide outplacement executive coaching on a one-to-one basis for Senior Civil Servants and high potential members of Band C staff. The successful tenderer will provide the service to the Talent and Leadership Team in the Scottish Government. The tenderer bid should demonstrate awareness of the leadership challenges faced by large governmental organisations, particularly around managing rapid and continuous change, supporting career development in a diverse and complex political environment, building capability and resilience and supporting the well-being of staff.
