Tender description

Contractors are invited to tender for the construction of a single-storey extension to the existing national school, consisting of a standard two classroom ASD suite incorporating sanitary facilities and ancillary spaces, two mainstream classrooms with associated sanitary facilities; including disabled access WC’s; as well as a central activities space, office, plant room and all associated site works at Glenbeg National School, Glenbeg, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. Please note that all works are to be carried out in strict adherence with the Department of Education & Skills, Technical Guidance Documents. It should also be noted that given the nature of the work involved, coupled with the existing spatial constraints, that it is paramount that the tendering contractor is in a position to commence works on site immediately following appointment and has such resources available to meet the pertinent handover dates. Infection Control / COVID 19; the PSCS / Contractor shall prepare a H&S statement demonstrating measures that will be put in place to ensure that works can be carried out in accordance CIF Standard Operating Procedures as well as confirming measures to be taken to monitor these processes.
