Barrow-in-Furness Leisure Centre LED Replacement

Barrow Borough Council is seeking to replace the existing lighting at Barrow Park Leisure Centre, Greengate Street, Barrow in Furness. Cumbria LA13 9DT The existing lighting is of various types, set out in Schedule 1. A schematic plan of the Centre is shown on Schedule 2 The Council is seeking to replace the existing lighting with energy saving LED lights through a funded programme "Low Carbon Barrow". The specification requirement is to align with the current fixtures however, this is not prescriptive, and alternative fittings of a similar or higher standard would be acceptable. A redesign of the arrays may also be considered, functionality must be maintained. Tenderers should be aware that the Leisure Centre is an operational venue, and works will need to be co-ordinated around events taking place.
