Workwear Laundering Services

Tender description

Translink is the brand name for the public transport operating companies in Northern Ireland. These include the companies of Ulsterbus, Metro, Northern Ireland Railways and NITHC. Translink wish to appoint a suitably qualified economic operator to provide laundering services. Services will include the collection, labelling, cleaning, drying, (repairing if required) and returning of workwear such as jackets and leggings (hi vis gortex) and polycottons for approximately 150 staff. Any contract resulting from this tender exercise will be on a Fixed Cost basis subject to Translinks Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Services available at www.translink.co.uk/corporate Translink anticipate this contract to run for a period of 12 months with two further annual extension options.
