See: http://www.afbini.gov.uk/ AFBI wishes to purchase a GC System for use at their headquarters Newforge Lane, Belfast. The system must comply with the specification below. The Agriculture, Food and Environmental Science Division of the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) requires a Gas Chromatograph for determination of the concentration of the greenhouse gases (GHGs): methane, carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide in air. Primarily this is in relation to the current EU Directive on GHGs which commits EU States to a 20% reduction in global warming gases by 2020. AFBI requires the supply, delivery and commissioning of the equipment. The successful contractor will also be required to oversee the on-site installation. AFBI requires a GC System to perform analysis of greenhouse gases produced by agriculture down to low limits of detection, ppb concentrations in most cases.
