Tender description

RISQS REGISTERED SUPPLIERS ONLY - MUST BE REGISTERED FOR CATEGORY 17.02.01 GENERAL PLANT (ALL OPERATED PLANT). Network Rail operates eight Aggregate Handling Depots located throughout Great Britain. Network Rail needs a supplier who can clear spilt ballast from the track quickly, efficiently and safely down to sleeper level, who can remove stone and ballast fines from rail wagons. It is envisaged that this will usually involve the use of a lorry with a vacuum attached which can suck up the material then deposit it in a neat pile within the depot for Network Rail to then dispose of; however, where there are overhead power lines, an suitable alternative solution will need to be provided.
