Suction Catheters & Tubing (and related consumables)

Tender description

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership - Procurement Services is looking to establish a contract for the provision of Suction Catheters & Tubing and related consumables for NHS Wales. NWSSP Procurement Services would like to invite suppliers of these products to express their interest in working with NHS Wales. It is envisaged that the proposed contract would cover the following types of products. Please note that this is not a definitive list and the range could increase/decrease dependant on market and end user feedback. Suction Catheters Closed Suction Catheter systems Suction Tubing Yankuers Mucus Secretion Traps Bile Bags Ryles Tubes Suction Toothbrush Rectal Catheters Suction Catheters are required to adhere to the BS EN ISO 8836:2007 standard. It is anticipated that the duration of the proposed contract would be 3 years, with an option to extend by a further 12 months. The tentative value of the proposed contract per annum is circa £600,000, although this will be split down into lots with the intention of sole award per lot. The content of the lots and their respective values is currently undetermined.
