Tender description
As part of a re-development programme, Newtownabbey Borough Council has carreid out a review of how effluent run off is treated via the Water Treatment Operations on its Civic Amenity Site - Bruslee, Belfast Road, Newtownabbey. The review highlighted a number of issues, including; the poor state of the existing Mechanical Water Treatment Facility and the need for a more suitable alternative. The Council has therefore decided to invest in a new facility to treat/run off water at Bruslee, with the view to ensuring a greener alternative is used to benefit the local environment.
