Local Distributor Road 4 (LDR4) Advance Tree Felling / Hedgerow Removal Contract

Tender description

The Proposed Road Development (LDR4) runs in a north-south direction across the River Blackwater between L3409 Ratholdron Road and N51/R147 Kells Road. The scope of the Works involves everything that is contained within the Works Requirements. As a guide, the project comprises, but is not limited to:  Site set-up, including temporary site compound and laydown areas required by the contractor;  Site clearance works, hedgerow and tree clearance as shown on the Contract Drawings.  Identify and protect all existing services as shown on the Contract Drawings as impacted by the works,  Fencing and boundary treatment works as shown on the Contract Drawings.  Clean up the site, mobilisation and demobilisation from site.  All temporary works associated with the project for example temporary traffic management etc. The General Site Clearance Area shall clear banks and ditches for the purposes of facilitating erection of fencing and the removal of all tree and hedgerows within the lands made available. Any trees and Hedgerows not identified in the wooded area or hedgerow clearance areas on the drawings shall also be felled and cleared from within the Site boundaries as indicated on the drawings.
