ESBU PSNI - Castleragh Canteen & Ablutions Refurbishment

Tender description

The Contract will involve works at Castlereagh PSNI Station, Alexander Road, Belfast and include. Refurbishment of the canteen area Canteen •Renew all surfaces (walls, door frames, office doors, fan lights, etc.) •Renew all floor finishes •Replace the ceiling grid and tiles •Upgrade all electrical and mechanical installations to current building control standards •Modify and extend the servery •Demolish existing walls to open up and extend the canteen •Remove existing snack bar •Provide fixed soft seating Refurbishment of all ablution areas throughout the complex to include shower areas Ablutions Refurbish and reconfigure all ablutions areas to remove urinals and include additional WC cubicles and wash basins, including: •Disconnection and removal of existing sanitary ware and cubicles •New prefabricated toilet cubicles •New sanitary ware •Plumbing, soils and wastes connections •Supply and extract ventilation •Suspended ceilings and recessed lighting •Redecoration to include mirrors and tiled splash backs •New anti-slip vinyl floor covering Form dedicated cleaners’ stores instead of using areas within ablutions •Licences, Accreditations and Certifications required – Electrical Sub Contractor – to be NICEIC accredited or equivalent.
