Tender description

Iarnród Éireann- Irish Rail invites applicants to tender for the provision of metal panels and folded sections that will be required for the repair of the body work on locomotive fleets. Sample drawings and photographs of body sections that may be required can be seen in the specification. A diagram identifying the different sections of the locomotive has also been provided by way of example of what will be required. The successful tender will be expected to provide the fabrication services of metal panels folded sections and other metal fabrications as required. These are typically 3mm- 5mm sections made from Grade 43A steel to BS standard 4360. The tender will be expected to come on site at Inchicore from time to time to finalise shapes sizes and quantities of all material to be supplied. The Tender will be required to provide material on a loco by Loco basis.
