Tender description

TV and Radio Services for Domestic Radio and World Service. The solution must be able to host, log and record around 140 feeds (combination of Radio and TV services) and have the ability to increase its capacity on demand. The system must be capable of accepting a full range of AV interfaces and formats including baseband digital video (SD and HD), digital audio and MPEG transport streams delivered over ASI and IP interfaces. The solution must be able to record and store the services for at least 90 days’ worth of content across the specified format(s) and at the specified quality. It is preferred to record and store in native format, however, alternative recommendations for reducing file sizes (resolution, bitrates) to increase storage capacity will be taken in consideration.
