C418 - Supply & Delivery of Bottled Water. Northern Ireland Water Ltd has a requirement to establish and maintain contingency arrangements for the provision of alternative water supplies to customers during civil emergencies when piped supplies may be unavailable or unsuitable. NI Water plan to mitigate the effects of emergencies by ensuring that arrangements are in place for the provision of bottled water to vulnerable sectors of the population. In order to meet requirements, a minimum emergency buffer stock will be held by NI Water at its emergency storage.
