Holland Park – Landscaping scheme for the Terrace Invitation to Tender – June 2015 The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of architectural services to carry out options appraisals for developing four lightweight Park Pavilions adjacent to the Grade 1 Listed Holland House, situated in Holland Park in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The Council (RBKC), as the Contacting Authority, intends to carry out an Open Procedure to award the contract. Tenderers must be rated as not higher than average risk of financial failure. The Council is seeking to meet the following objectives: • To develop options for the design of the pavilions that will meet the needs of Opera Holland Park during the summer opera season • To develop the pavilions in such a way as they will be open to alternative uses when not in use by Opera Holland Park • These additional uses must bring benfits to both the park and its users • To develop improvements to the areas adjacent to the Terrace, including re-aligning the service road Please email ian.mcnicol@lbhf.gov.uk to arrange an appropriate time if you would like to visit the site prior to submitting a proposal.
