Alternative Provision Market Survey (PRE-MARKET ENGAGEMENT ONLY)

<p>Lincolnshire County Council is running a pre-market engagement to establish views on Alternative Provision in Lincolnshire and provider's ability to meet the needs of local children in the future.</p> <p>Alternative Provision is for pupils of compulsory school age who, by reason of illness, exclusion from school or otherwise, may not for any period receive suitable education unless such arrangements are made for them. This includes pupils:</p> <ul> <li>permanently excluded from mainstream education</li> <li>behavioural intervention placements for pupils at risk of permanent exclusion</li> <li>medical support placements</li> <li>placements for pupils who are unable access mainstream school for other reasons.</li> </ul> <p>We currently have a survey open to Alternative Provision providers. The outcome of this survey will help us plan provisions for the academic years 2023-24, 2024-25 and beyond.&nbsp; The survey seeks to help us better understand the Alternative Provision sector including:</p> <ul> <li>organisation types</li> <li>ranges of alternative learning programmes offered</li> <li>average annual placement costs&nbsp;</li> <li>any barriers to working in, or growing, this type of provision in Lincolnshire.</li> </ul> <p>Your organisation does not have to be a provider in Lincolnshire to participate. It may be looking for opportunities to deliver Alternative Provision services in the county.</p> <p>The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
