Tender description

This contract is for the repair of one of the P & C Agricultural tractors based at Central Park Wallasey. Following an unexpected gust of wind a gate at the entrance of garages in central park closed with force and became wedged between the nearside door frame and step on the vehicle cab. The impact was so severe that it damaged the cab safety frame, The frame will now have to be replaced in it's entirety before the vehicle can be used again. This is an integral part keeping the driver safe in case of an overturn and can not be repaired and has to be replaced at considerable expense. After consultation with the councils insurance section they have agreed for this to go ahead and instructed me to complete the necessary smart form. The cost will be initially taken from workshop budget and returned by insurance once the repair is complete less the excess which will be paid by Wallasey District.
