Warm Homes Scheme 2022

Tender description

This contract is to undertake a range of boiler and gas appliance servicing including boiler and central heating repairs and new boiler and central heating installations, low level plumbing works, low level electrical repairs and full electrical installations to owner occupied and Council managed private dwellings across Knowsley. The contract will also include the fitting of battery-operated carbon monoxide and smoke detectors and when required the provision of temporary emergency heating (type of heating is to be agreed with the Council beforehand).\r \r The contract will form part of the Warm Homes Scheme Knowsley 2022-2024 which will provide the above works to ensure that vulnerable residents in the borough are able to maintain adequate and efficient heating of their home throughout the year and that hazards from carbon monoxide, fire and electrical supplies are adequately controlled. Residents of Knowsley are able to apply for assistance and subject to them meeting the housing assistance criteria will individually be awarded grant assistance.
