The Council is recommissioning its contract with a third party provider for the joint initiative to deliver an outreach / community based project supporting the vulnerable residents of Sutton both during the day and night time economy. Interventions are aimed at supporting our vulnerable residents through advice, signposting, referrals, diversion and the priorities of reducing crime and the fear of crime, with a particular focus on alcohol related disorder. The Council is inviting providers to participate in a soft market testing exercise to identify whether there are any alternative providers of day and night time economy outreach engagement and diversion for the protection of vulnerable residents. We will use the information gathered during soft market testing to test the expertise and capacity of the current market and inform the final award.
