A93/21 C05 DALHENZEAN, C429/00 C05 DUNKELD GOLF COURSE & C414/04 C05 CULTEUCHAR CULVERT REPLACEMENTS - GROUND INVESTIGATION

Tender description

To undertake Site Investigations at Dalhenzean Culvert, Dunkeld Golf Course Culvert and Culteuchar Culvert. The Site Investigation works are to include driving boreholes, trial pits, sampling, testing, production of drillers logs and reporting to ascertain the existing ground conditions and allow the production of factual Ground Investigation Reports (GIR) for each of the sites. The purpose of the ground investigations is to determine the properties of the ground to inform the design of foundation solutions for the proposed replacement culverts. Subject to ground conditions, the preferred solution will be shallow foundations at least 1.0m below existing watercourse bed level. If the ground conditions are such that this is deemed to be unfeasible, the Contractor is to consult client for further guidance. The Ground Investigation Report must be in accordance with BS EN 1997-2 and accompanying UK national Annex. The road / lane closures have been notified on Aurora by the Client, refer to Appendix 1/17 for further information, including dates. The contractor is to appoint a Traffic Management company to implement the traffic management required in accordance with the diversion drawings and the dates defined in the contract. The contractor is to liaise with the landowners to agree access and reinstatement to original condition. All welfare and all other prelims by Contractor.
