Tender description
The Council is looking to establish a service delivery model for Temporary Accommodation which better suits the changing need of the department and that of our expanding client group. The requirement is split into two distinct parts and has been separated into 5 contracted Lots, Lot Service 1 – Lot 1 - Provision for Managing Agent Services at Howbury Accommodation: Provision of Temporary Accommodation Services Howbury Hostel is a 12 bed multi-occupancy accommodation for families that have made application to the Council for temporary accommodation. Lot Service 1 – Lot 2 - Provision for Managing Agent Services at Betsham Accommodation Centre: Provision of Temporary Accommodation Services Betsham is a 10 bed multi-occupancy accommodation for families that have made application to the Council for temporary accommodation Lot Service 2 – Lot 3 - Provision of Block contract(s) for the provision of temporary accommodation: Provision of Temporary Accommodation Services This requirement is for up to 760 various sized units of rented accommodation to be provided and managed by one or more of provider(s)s through a series of ‘block’ contracts. Lot Service 2 – Lot 4 – Framework for the Provision of Temporary Accommodation: Provision of Temporary Accommodation Services This framework is for the provision and management of rented accommodation required in addition to the Council's 'block' arrangement (above). This extra accommodation will be purchased on a nightly acquired, 'spot' basis. The proportion and number of properties required will vary based on requirements. Lot Service 1 – Lot 5 – Provision of a Managing Agent and Management Service: Provision of Temporary Accommodation Services Lesnes (Peabody HA Properties) are a number of different sized accommodation units (owned by Peabody Housing Association) that the Council is putting to use as accommodation for those that have been accepted as homeless
