Made Local - Retail Capability Programme for design and craft sector (DCCI)

Tender description

Made Local Retail Programme 2023 will be designed to channel ambitious design and craft makers into the Irish retail channel, providing a sustainable platform for growth and scaling. This programme aims to work in partnership with a key Irish retailer, and provide a supported capability development programme that will fast track these designers and makers capability development, and raise the profile of the Irish design and craft sector. The programme will be designed to educate, support and grow 20 Irish designers and makers through the provision of a holistic suite of retail supports, delivered by the programme trainer, and supported by the retailer, DCCI and Enterprise Ireland. The ambition of the Made Local Retail Programme is to provide a growth pathway for design and craft makers that will lead to increased employment. The programme also aims to recruit exceptional participants and identify high potential scaling businesses that are targeting export markets, and are suited to Enterprise Ireland high potential supports eco-system. The successful tenderer is expected to have wide experience in supporting the development of high potential enterprises, and ideally in retail channels, both online and in-store.
