Cork Education & Training Board (CETB) requires Virtual Reality Welding Simulator Training Machines for Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus. Cork The equipment is intended for use in a welding workshop/trainee welding workshop environment in Cork Training Centre and must be of construction, materials and finish which are suitable for this use. This is to include supply of comprehensive training manuals, after sales support and maintenance where required. The specifications are identified within the tender, however these are training machines and therefore conforming to the listed specifications is important to meet industry demands and our training requirements. The units should be capable of performing workshop style welding to mirror industry from Basic to Advanced Welding Training. Welding courses provide the trainees with the skills and related knowledge in Carbon Steel Plate, Stainless Steel Welding at a variety of positions and to industry standards stated in the modules. The welding processes used are manual metal arc welding, M.I.G. welding and T.I.G. welding. Cork ETB invites responses (“Tenders”) to this Request for tenders (“RFT”) from economics operators (“Tenderers”) for participation in a specific contract for supply of the goods and related services (together referred to in this RFT as “the goods” as described under Section 4.1 Requirements and Specification of the RFT).
