Tender description
Swansea Council is seeking individual mechanical & electrical contractors to carry out servicing and maintenance repairs on its owned/maintained equipment. The following contracts are up for renewal - High/Low Rise Lifts - CDT - Stairlift Servicing - Fire Alarms - Generators - Pat Testing - Warden Call Systems - Communal TV Distribution Systems - CCTV - Stage Lighting - Electrical Testing - Lighting Protection - Kilns & Pottery Equipment - Cremators - Pool Plant - Patient Lifting and Handling Apparatus - Local Exhaust Ventilation - Solar PV - COSHH Testing - Fume Cupboards - Fire Suppression - Fire Extinguishers/Hydrants & Dry Risers - Ductwork & Kitchen Ventilation Cleaning - Tank and Water System Cleaning & Disinfection - Gas Radiant Tube Heating Systems - Sprinklers - BMS - Automatic Doors Lot 1: The services required will be on Swansea's Council's owned and maintained equipment in its Public Buildings, Schools, Low Rise & High-Rise Communal Blocks and Housing Complexes within the curtilage of the City & County of Swansea boundary. Swansea Council will be utilising the NEC3 Term Service Short Contract 2013, with amendments, for a duration of 3/4 years at maximum. All contracts will begin on 1st April 2023, irrespective of whether that lies on a weekday or weekend and will conclude on the 31st March of the prescribed year. All servicing works will be in accordance with the respective CLAW specifications and manufacturer’s recommendations, unless otherwise stated. All tenders received will be evaluated on a price/quality split of 70% Price and 30% Quality. The procurement of these tenders will begin in November 2022.
