Experienced Service Provider to Manage, Operate and Maintain The Leisure Centre at the Mall, Longford Town

Longford Pool Construction Ltd wishes to facilitate the operation of commercially viable and professionally managed leisure facilities. Within these parameters it is considered desirable that such facilities are affordable for all sections of the community. A Service Contract Agreement will be awarded to the Successful Candidate following this competition on the following basis; • The Successful Candidate will enter into a formal Service Contract Agreement with Longford Pool Construction Ltd. • The Successful Candidate shall operate the leisure facilities within said licence. • The Successful Candidate shall comply with the agreed financial proposal. • The Successful Candidate upon entering into the Service Contract Agreement shall be solely responsible for all Health and Safety issues at the Leisure Centres and abide by the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and all relevant Regulation. A record of all Health and Safety documentation as per statutory requirements and directions from the Health and Safety Authority must be maintained and updated at regular intervals. Risk Assessments shall be conducted by the Successful Candidate at their own cost and procedures reviewed in light of same. • The Successful Candidate upon entering into the Service Contract Agreement shall be solely responsible for ensuring that adequate insurances are in place that indemnify and keep harmless Longford Pool Construction Ltd against any claims, costs, damages or penalties arising out of the use or operation of the Leisure Facilities by the Successful Candidate in respect of the following but not exclusively, Employee Liability, Public Liability, Fixtures and Fittings. • The Successful Candidate upon entering into the Service Contract Agreement shall promote and market the Leisure Centre and the various services offered to ensure the maximum usage of all the facilities by the broadest cross section of the public. The cost of all advertising and publicity material will be met fully by the Successful Candidate. •
