Herefordshire Council - November Meet the Buyer / Market Engagement Event: Focus on Community Commissioning

<p>Herefordshire Council will be running a Market Engagement event for all businesses interested in delivering community services for Herefordshire Council. The event will be on the 8th November 2022, 11:00am – 12:30pm via Microsoft teams. Herefordshire Council procures services across a wide range of business areas and wish to engage with suppliers to ensure that organisations have the best opportunity to be aware of and bid for procurements.</p> <p>The Community Commissioning Team are responsible for the commissioning, monitoring and management of a wide range of community focused contracts including:</p> <p> • All Age Accommodation and support services for vulnerable adults, children and young people including care leavers and unaccompanied asylum seeking children.</p> <p>• Domestic abuse services including safe accommodation and support for victims and their families.</p> <p>• Refugee resettlement services including housing support, community integration and English for speakers of other languages.</p> <p>• Voluntary sector capacity and support</p> <p>• All age mental health and wellbeing services</p> <p>• Integrated Community Equipment and technology reactive monitoring.</p> <p>The event will cover a range of topics including information of where to find council opportunities, how to successfully bid for them and specific information about some imminent and upcoming opportunities together with opportunities to ask questions and network.</p> Keywords: refugees, community, support, domestic, accomodation, abuse
