CP2258-22 Data & Intelligence Call off support

Tender description

Devon County Council Data & Intelligence (D&I) Team receive requests for effort for business system implementations that exceed its capacity to deliver multiple business projects and maintain BAU. This contract is intended to provide business units a route to call on external expert assistance, relating to data and intelligence work packages, during periods of high demand on the DCC internal teams. For example: -When a business area needs significant development support, such as a new source system implementation -When there is a shortage of skilled staff for daily operations -For specific training on new technical areas It is envisaged that the funding will come primarily from the business areas and the work will be directed by the D&I Team. There is no guarantee of funds to the supplier in any particular year and the £500,000 headline value is a suggested maximum over a four-year period. If the headline value is not used over the four-year period then there is no expectation on DCC to pay the unused remainder of the £500,000 maximum.
