It reduces the administrative burden on HSE of processing and delivering paper standards. Staff have access to current versions of standards for instant download at any time and, the ability to set up personal profiles and alerts ensures that staff are kept informed of any changes to the standards they use regularly. It also supports HSE's current hybrid working model, as most staff now spend a significant proportion of their time working away from the office, either at home or at a duty holder's premises
