Provision of Youth Voice Adviser Services for the Creative Schools initiative

Scoileanna Ildánacha/Creative Schools is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme to enable the creative potential of every child. Creative Schools is led by the Arts Council in partnership with the Department of Education and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. The initiative is also informed by the Arts Council’s ten-year strategy (2016–25) Making Great Art Work: Leading the Development of the Arts in Ireland. The Arts Council wishes to contract the services of a Youth Voice Adviser for the Creative Schools initiative for up to 50 days per calendar year. The nominated Youth Voice Adviser (“the Adviser”) will possess high levels of skills and competence in the area of youth participation and will be able to demonstrate this through their previous experience in involving children and young people in decision-making. This Adviser will have an active role in the development of child and youth voice within the Arts Council, while working within a structured and supportive team.
