Tenders are sought for the supply of Cyanoacrylate (Superglue) Fingerprint Fuming Chambers/Cabinets (x2) for Forensic Science Ireland within the Fingermark Visualisation Laboratory (FVL). The FVL requires the supply, installation, and commissioning of two superglue fuming chambers/cabinets across a range of sizes to include a large and mid-size system for the purpose of visualising latent fingermarks on a range of non-porous materials. The fuming cabinets should be of the latest technology, easy, to use, robust, and capable of: • Developing fingermarks of high quality characterised by excellent contrast and ridge clarity. • Providing rapid results that are reliable and consistent. • Developing fingermarks that are stable in nature. Tenders are sought for the supply and delivery of Handheld Forensic Light Sources for Forensic Science Ireland within the Fingermark Visualisation Laboratory (FVL). The FVL requires the supply and delivery of high intensity light sources to excite fluorescence in the forensic examination of items for the purpose of visualising fingermarks both pre- and post-chemical treatment. The light sources should be of the latest technology, easy to use, compact, robust, and be capable of: • Handheld operation for ease of use. • Robust safety features. • LED illumination output at wavelengths to include UV, Violet, Blue, Blue-Green, Green, Orange, Red, IR, and White. • Providing all necessary accessories such as camera filters and goggles.
