Tender description
TEO currently has three overseas offices representing the interests of the Northern Ireland Executive in Washington (covering North America), Brussels (covering Europe) and China. The current Chinese government policy of dynamic zero-Covid means that travel into and out of China is highly restricted, with the result that the Bureau, which has been in existence since 2014, is unable to undertake any activity in relation to the rest of Asia. TEO want to undertake a two-year trial of a Cross-Asia Envoy position and are seeking a contractor to provide a report which will enable TEO International Relations Directorate to identify and establish the best location to base a Cross-Asia Envoy.
