Tender description

This contract is for the Managed Service for the Supply, Delivery, Maintenance and Cleaning of Workshop Protective Clothing. Garments provided must be compliant with EU Legislation. The following garments will be required: • Boiler Suit (EN 340 : 2003) • Short Coat (EN 340 : 2003) • Trousers (EN 340 : 2003) • Flame Retardant Boiler Suit (EN 340 : 2003; EN 470 : 1995) • Knee Pads (Lightweight Foam) (EN 14404 : 2004) • High Visibility Yellow/Blue Sweatshirt (EN ISO 20471 : 2013) • High Visibility Yellow/Blue Polo Shirt (EN ISO 20471 : 2013) Individual lockers are to be provided for each staff member and must be capable of holding up to 9 garments and one set of knee pads. Garment collection storage containers will be required at each location, one container for garments requiring washing only and one container for garments requiring washing and repair The Contract is for a period of two (2) years with two optional two (2) year extension periods.
