23/029 - A Qualification System for the Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Services to Uisce Éireann

Tender description

The main requirements for PPE goods and services (but not limited to): • Lot 1 – Standard PPE: PPE and Workwear may include but is not limited to:  Personal Protective Equipment such as hard hats, safety shoes, Hi Viz Vests and Jackets, ear defenders, gloves etc., designed to protect personnel against routine risks associated with a water / wastewater utility business.  Day-to-day Workwear (e.g. work trousers, shirts, jumpers, fleeces etc.) • Lot 2 – Consumables: The scope of Lot 2 may include, but not be limited to:  Glasses,  Disposable gloves,  Disposable overalls  Earplugs  Dust masks • Lot 3 – Role Based Specialist Safety Equipment: Specialist Safety Equipment may include but is not limited to:  Fire-suits, buoyancy aids, work at height equipment, breathing apparatus, specialist respiratory protective equipment, confined space entry equipment, personal atmosphere monitors etc. designed to protect personnel against specific risks associated with water / waste water utility businesses.  This Lot is focused towards roles involving confined space, work near water, work at height, Gas environments (e.g. Chlorine, welding). This will be provisioned as part of the role onboarding process. • Lot 4 – First Aid: First Aid scope may include but is not limited to:  First Aid Kits for work vehicles, treatment plants and UÉ assets.
