GB-Colchester: External Painting of CBC Housing Stock

Tender description

Colchester Borough Council (the Council) wishes to commission a Contractor to undertake external decoration and painting of internal communal areas with pre-paint repairs where needed, to its housing stock, which consists of a mixture of bungalows, houses and blocks of flats. Bidders are advised that the budget for the year is in the region of £400,000. However, the Council makes no guarantee of the volume or value of work to be required under this contract, which will be judged on the basis of satisfactory performance. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. This contract is initially for 12 months with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months.
