Registered Housing Providers Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)

Tender description

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council), is seeking to develop a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) of Registered Housing Providers able to work in partnership with the Council to develop supported housing. The DPS will have the following categories (further categories may be added at the discretion of the Council) : •Category 1 - Private Sector Leasing (in partnership with Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham Councils) •Category 2 - Supported Housing Capital Expenditure (Barnsley Council only) •Category 3 - General Needs Housing (Barnsley Council only) Providers will be notified via YORtender if they are a successful applicant on to each category of the DPS applied for. Providers awarded a place on the DPS shall be invited to further competitions for the categories for which they have applied as a when opportunities become available. The DPS will be in place for a period of 5 years , however the council(s) does not guarantee any business through any categories of the DPS.
