Provision of Training in (1) Investigation & Courtroom Skills and (2) Negotiation Skills for Revenue Staff

Tender description

The purpose of this Competition is to appoint a service provider to design, develop and deliver a training programme – provisionally commencing in March 2022 – to be made available to staff of the Office of Revenue Commissioners and persons nominated by same. Under Lot 1, the programme will aim to address the professional development needs of the participants in relation to investigations they are likely to encounter, addressing areas such as relevant criminal offences, courtroom skills and to provide staff with a deeper knowledge of their powers, current procedures and guidelines. Additionally, under Lot 2, the programme will aim to address the acquisition of soft-skills, including negotiation and conflict de-escalation techniques that will aid participants in the execution of their duties.
