NTCA Child Poverty Prevention Programme Welfare Rights Advice and Support in Schools

Tender description

Tenders are invited from suitable contractors to deliver the second pillar of our CPPP. The intention of this stream of the programme is to support families and households in poverty by commissioning a pilot to bring welfare rights advice and support into Primary/First schools. Contractors are requested to select which Local Authority area they are bidding for (Newcastle, North Tyneside, or Northumberland) and the maximum budget per local authority is £83,000. Lot 1: Newcastle The overall aim of the second pillar of the programme is to bring welfare rights advice and support in to Primary/First schools across the North of Tyne. This pilot in North of Tyne schools builds upon existing best practice, such as the successful Greater London Authority model and similar work undertaken by Newcastle’s Active Inclusion team. This Lot is for the Newcastle Area Lot 2: Northumberland The overall aim of the second pillar of the programme is to bring welfare rights advice and support in to Primary/First schools across the North of Tyne.
