Inspection, Testing, & Maintenance of HV Systems and associated Remedial Repair

Tender description

The scope of service is the provision of High Voltage Electrical Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Associated Remedial works of various assets ranging from 3.3kV to 33kV. The majority of the assets include, but are not limited to: • Power Transformers, • Fixed and Withdrawable switchgear, • On-Load Tap Changers, • HV Motor Starters, • HV Variable Frequency Drives • Voltage Transformers. These Assets are spread around the Northwest of England over 68 Water Sites and 91 Wastewater Sites. High Voltage equipment ranges from Single Power Transformer to the largest site which has around 34 substations and 50 Transformers. Due to the variety of equipment, variation in locations and required resilience, the current maintenance strategy standardises the requirements for detailed inspection of all the High Voltage assets on a 5 year programme.
