Tender description

The Scottish Government had a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of a replacement Drinking Water Quality Data Management System. The Drinking Water Quality Regulator (DWQR) is the independent regulator of drinking water for Scotland and is assisted by the Drinking Water Quality Division (DWQD) of the Scottish Government, which aims to provide assurance to the public that drinking water in Scotland is safe to drink. The DWQR relies on the availability of accurate, complete and up to date information on drinking water quality in order to fulfil her statutory obligations, report back to Scottish Ministers and ensure DWQR’s business continuity. The design and delivery of a replacement system is required to ensure the ongoing provision of accurate water quality data.
