Tender description

Jisc is seeking to enter into a contract with Springer Nature Customer Service Center GmbH to offer Jisc members the opportunity to access SpringerCompact Journals. This offer relates to the updated and amended SpringerCompact agreement 2019-2021, combining hybrid open access publishing in ~1,900 Springer journals and access to the content of ~2,500 Springer journals for the period 2019 to 2021, now extended to 2022 and including the 38 Academic Journals. The contract will be for 2 year from 1st Jan 2023. Lot 1: offer Jisc members the opportunity to access SpringerCompact Journal. This offer relates to the updated and amended SpringerCompact agreement 2019-2021, combining hybrid open access publishing in ~1,900 Springer journals and access to the content of ~2,500 Springer journals for the period 2019 to 2021, now extended to 2022 and including the 38 Academic Journals. The contract will be for 2 year from 1st Jan 2023. Additional information: The contract value is an estimate based on the aggregate sum of the licence fees that will be paid to the supplier by Jisc member institutions over the two year term of the contract. Jisc Collections itself makes no payment to the supplier for this service.
