Proposed Works to Corkagh Park, Dublin 22

Tender description

The proposed works include a number of projects: 1) Works to the Hub Zone - Construction of a new multi functional community building / Café and toilet block, Refurbishment of small number of existing rooms within existing building to provide storage space, provision of an external stage and external works including hard and soft landscaping, underground drainage and site services and site fittings. 2) Fairy Woodland Trail - Hard and Soft Landscaping Works to form a new fairy woodland trail including the supply and installation of playground equipment and fairy woodland trail fitting throughout the trail. 3) St Johns Wood Entrance Area - Replacement of existing entrance gates with new automated entrance gates, hard landscaping works to the car-park area including demolition of existing trees, raised islands and kerbs, new permable sub base to be installed on top of the existing, with plastic reinforced grass finish and concrete kerbing, wheel stoppers, formation of swales and filter drainage system and underground connection into existing drainage lines. 4) Green Isle Entrance Area - Replacement of existing entrance gates with new automated entrance gates, hard landscaping works to provide an extension to the existing car park area including demolition of existing surfacings and kerbs, excavation, disposal, new permable sub base to be installed on top of the existing, with plastic reinforced grass finish and concrete kerbing, wheel stoppers, formation of swales and filter drainage system and provision of new asphalt road from alternative entrance with concrete kerbing. 5) Outer Ring Eoad Entrance Area - Replacement of existing gates and provision of new resin bound gravel footpath from car park entrance into park. 6) Wayfinding and Signage - Provisional of new wayfinding and signage through the park include steel column beacons, large corten steel lettering, corten steel orientation maps and totems including concrete bases.
