The City of Liverpool College are going out to tender for a 4 year contract (with the option to extend for one extra year) for the provision of Waste Collection and Disposal Services. The documents for this tender are ready to be downloaded and the closing date for the return of your tenders via the College`s In-Tend website is 3.00pm on Monday 6th June 2022. Lot 1: The College is seeking a cost effective and efficient waste management service, which complies with current and future legislation, and supports its objectives to improve environmental performance. The College has committed to achieve and retain the progressive awards under the Green Impact Scheme (see Appendix A) and is seeking proposals which will support it in this objective. The College has currently achieved the Bronze standard.The scope of work comprises of the provision of a comprehensive service including the collection, removal and disposal of controlled waste from the College. The contract shall have a key focus on waste minimization, recovery, and recycling. The current waste collection schedule can be found at Appendix B. Suppliers are requested to propose a solution based on the information provided. This solution may be the same as the current service schedule or may differ in order to improve the efficiency and quality of the service and/or reduce cost.Suppliers should also give consideration to service demands during College holiday periods.
