Tender for the provision of endoscopy and gastro intestinal services

Tender description

This contract will provide the following endoscopy and gastro intestinal insourced services: Lot 1: Endoscopy Insourcing Services Lot 2: Endoscopy and Outpatient Services Lot 3: General and Colorectal Outpatient Services The contract term will initially be two-years, with the option to extend for a further period of up to twelve months, up to a maximum term of 3 years. All awarded contracts will, be zero value, with no guaranteed volumes. Lot 1: Endoscopy Insourcing Services The purpose of Lot 1 of the contract is to provide a component of the Trust's Endoscopy Service by delivering an agreed volume of endoscopy activity as and when required, using Trust endoscopy units, facilities, and equipment. Lot 2: Endoscopy and Outpatient Services The purpose of Lot 2 of the contract is to provide a component of the Trust's Gastroenterology Outpatient Clinics, using Trust outpatient facilities and equipment. This will include both routine patients and two week wait suspected cancer patients. Lot 3: General and Colorectal Outpatient Services The purpose of Lot 3 of the contract is to provide a component of the Trust's Colorectal and General Surgery Outpatient Clinics as and when required. This will include routine patients along with two week wait suspected cancer patients.
