Provision of Specific Scientific Database Materials and Tools

The University of Strathclyde's Library requires specific scientific research database material and tools provided by this platform. American Chemical Society is the sole agent for its Chemical Abstracts Service Scifinder and owns the intellectual property of its academic publications. The research database material and tools are unique to the Scifinder platform and are unavailable elsewhere. The proprietary academic content is heavily used by the Science Faculty within the University of Strathclyde and the unique and original research content on the site means that no other product or services can meet the specified requirement.
