EKFB JV - Route wide Permanent Fencing and gates (steel and timber) - NEC Subcontract Works

EKFB is seeking to appoint competent sub-contractors to supply and install permanent fencing which will total in excess of 350km in length and run route wide from North Chilterns to Southam. Expressions are also sought from fencing material manufacturers to which this opportunity may be of interest. Please consider the information below and whether this opportunity is suitable for your business. Types of fencing at approximate quantities will be as follows: • Boundary Fence - Highway construction post and four rail timber fence. Approximately 220km. • Security Fence - 1.8m high metal fencing. Approximately 100km. • Security Fence - As above with 3 strands of barbed wire (overall height 2.13m). Approximately 30km. • Security Fence - 2.4m high metal fencing with a 0.3m deep concrete sill, with 3 strands of barbed wire (overall height 2.8m). Approximately 10km. • Ecological requirements - Utilising the above with modifications i.e. cranked top for otter protection. Approximately 10km. • Bat protection fencing at 5m high. Approximately 2km. • Associated Gates similar in material to fencing types above. Approximately 850nr • Deer protection fencing - Specification and qty TBC Expressions are welcome from suppliers, installers and those wishing to supply and install, however initial selection criteria will review organisation size given the quantity and value of the works.
